He and wife Myra launched a non-profit equestrian ministry in Alaska allowing youth to experience horses and other ranch animals in a beautiful outdoor setting. And is currently working on a non-profit therapy experience for youth and families looking for healing. A part of their faith story often shared with churches and couples is how God can use painful loss to ultimately bring healing and impact in others lives if we will let Him. After losing their 3-year old son, Colby, to Acute Leukemia and parents to disease, Lupus, and horrific event of domestic violence, all before they were out of their 20's, Larry and Myra chose to turn toward faith and trusting that God is at work, even in the midst of consistent trials.

"We have shared an adventure and faith-filled experience from Galveston, Texas to Kodiak, Alaska and several stops between, with one encouragement, to live life to the fullest, trusting God's plan — especially when it's hard.

Originally from Galveston & Huntsville, Texas we have faithfully trusted God's guidance for ministry in Chicago, Illinois, Fort Worth, Texas, Austin, Texas, and drove a moving truck and horse trailer to and from Kodiak Island, Alaska, then to Irvine, California and we now live full-time on an 8 acres in the hill country of Central Arkansas."
